| About Dr Mahmood Hasan Consultant |
| Dr. Mahmood Hasan completed his MBBS in 1981. He started his medical career as a Resident Psychiatrist in 1988 and undertook three and a half years of full-time training. He did FCPS in Psychiatry in 1992 from the Institute of Post-Graduate Medical & Research (IPGMR), Dhaka. Since 1993, he has been working at Bangladesh Medical College & Hospital, Dhaka in different capacities from Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor to Professor. He is also a Consultant at Mahila Parishad, an NGO dealing with feminine rights, domestic violence, and other legal aspects. Dr. Mahmood Hasan has several publications in reputed medical journals and has attended many international seminars. Some of his works are related to stress in the Indian culture. He has completed several trainings in Delhi and Pune, India. He has good experience in managing psychiatric patients with expertise in counseling, personal disorders, depression, ADHD, stress management, bi-polar disorders, schizophrenia, drug addiction disorders, domestic violence,e and crisis intervention, as well as community psychiatry. |
