| Maj Gen Mohiuddin is a renowned Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon of the country. He is one of the pioneer surgeons of Oral Implantology in Bangladesh. He has traveled to many countries in connection with official capacities. Attended several Seminars and Conferences. Maj General Golam Mohiuddin Chowdhury was appointed as Consultant Dental Surgeon General. The Directorate General of Medical Service on 31 Jul 2017. He is the first Major General from the Army Dental Corps. Gen Mohiuddin graduated (BDS). From Dhaka Dental College under Dhaka University in 1982. He was commissioned in the Bangladesh Army in the Army Dental Corps on 20 Sep 1984. After his commission, he underwent various Training, Course, and Seminar both at home and abroad. He was trained in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. The Armed Forces Institute of Dentistry, Pakistan in 1993-94. He got training in Implant Surgery from Singapore in 1999 and advanced training from Malaysia and Australia in 2015 and 2017. He also pursued training in TMJ Arthroscopy from Germany in 2014. He got an Advanced Implant Training Course from Malaysia in 2016. He also joined various seminars and workshops likely Hong Kong in 2006, Thailand in 2016, China in 2017, and Thailand in 2019. |

| He attended the UN Mission, Searalion in 2003. He completed FCPS in OMF Surgery from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in 2007. Over the years, he has served in various CMHs as a senior Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. He also served as the first Commandant of MDC Dhaka. Dental service in the Army has developed and Military Dental Centers formed independent units separating from all CMHs through his initiative and relentless effort. He is the choice of doctor for all dental & oral procedures including oral cancer, dental implants, facial trauma/fracture, jaw tumor, TMJ/JAW joint problems, and jaw reconstruction. |
