| Prof. (Dr.) Md. Shahid Karim is Considered one of the best Paediatric surgeons of his generation. Obtained his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College, where he received extensive training as a Registrar with wide exposure to multiple disciplines of surgery. Recruited as a resident surgeon by the Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he had the opportunity to work in King Fahad Hospital at Al-Baha. Became a Professor of Paediatric Surgery and Paediatric Urology at the Bangladesh Institute of Child Health and Dhaka Shishu Hospital. He also headed the Department of Paediatric Surgery in these institutions. |
